Fall Semester Preparations

Being back home at our farmhouse in the hills has been wonderful, but I'm getting excited about the Fall semester that awaits us in Citerna! We have stayed busy these weeks trying to arrange for the wiring of the hotel for wi-fi, satellite service for SKY news in English, purchasing of washers and dryers, laundry day assignments, and menus. We have special parties organized for welcoming, Fall festivals, chili suppers, Thanksgiving, etc. Any excuse for a party! We will have 40 students plus two faculty families--along with both of my older sons (and one sons new bride). They will be helping get the new program off the ground. My prayer is that each and every student will leave at the end of the semester with a renewed view of the God that we serve, and a vision to share all that they have learned so that God will be glorified through their lives. A semester in Tuscany/Umbria will give them the opportunity to see some of God's most beautiful landscapes, eat some of the best produce in the world, see some of man's most amazing artworks, and learn to love a most amazing people.
